Well, I guess I'll keep this till I get a subscription, so I'd better post up something important. Lets see... I've been working on a painting. Harder than I thought it'd be, but I love working with paintbrushes. It feels (to me) much better than digital art. I really love the smell, and the way it feels when you smooth the paintbrush over the canvas. It's like dreaming awake. Im probably sounding over dramatic over it, but painting, drawing, it does make me feel like I can say absolutely everything. It makes me happy.
So, talking about me and drawing, I've never had a teacher, but I'm six months away from joining the local art school--not that I have the slightest idea of what will happen
My big time challenge is to be an amazing artist, you know, the kind that sells a painting for over $1'000'000. That would be amazing! My favorite style for painting is surrealism. Though, I have to learn to do some pretty good realism first. I also do cartoons for fun, but all my serious work I like to be as close to realism as possible.
For inspiration I usually use music, my hopes are trying to express full concrete feelings in my drawings, to draw things that will make people cry or laugh or anger. It'd be better than the million dollars. Seriously.
I also enjoy photomanipulation. But not quiet as much. It's cute, its magical, but it seriously can't compare to painting in a canvas. Like I said, it makes me feel incredible.
My favorite artist are Gigger and Davici. I admire the way they made hings their own way...specially Gigger... However, Danvinc was just amazing. For his time he did things unbreakable. Some day, I hope to be remembered like he is now. I know that's too great expectations for a fourteen years old wimp who likes drawing, but I just love painting...more than anything else. It simply is.
